Operações de entrada
Os operadores de entrada lidam com a importação de gráficos raster em ContourTrace e fornecem uma interface para interação individual com a aplicação ContourTrace.
Image Pipeline
The Image Pipeline allows raster operators to be organized, configured, and managed in a defined processing sequence, giving users greater control over image processing before conversion to vector data.
Operadores Raster
Os operadores Raster lidam com a modificação da imagem de entrada (gráfico Raster) e fornecem múltiplas funcionalidades para melhorar ou adaptar o seguinte processo de transformação vetorial.
Background Differencing Operator
The Background Differencing Operator is designed to improve edge detection when scanning transparent or highly reflective objects, such as glass, plastic, or chrome-plated components.
Detect Operator
The Detect Operator is a transformation operator that converts raster images into vector graphics by detecting contours. Depending on the selected mode, it can extract either all contours or only the outer contour.
Operadores Vetoriais
Os Operadores Vetoriais lidam com a modificação da imagem de entrada vetorial transformada (gráfico Vetor) e fornecem múltiplas funcionalidades para melhorar ou adaptar a representação às exigências individuais.
Drawing Operator
The Drawing Operator enables precise editing, and refinement of vector contours directly within ContourTrace, providing powerful tools for advanced contour manipulation and ensuring clean, accurate, and export-ready results—without the need for external CAD software.
Transform to Polygon / Spline
Convert selected contours between polygon and spline, allowing flexible control over contour geometry and curvature based on your application needs.
Transform polygon to circle
Converts selected polygon contours into perfect circles, ideal for round tools and objects, with adjustable radius for precise control.
Offset Contour
Generates precise offsets of selected contours by a defined distance and corner style, with support for processing multiple contours simultaneously.
Tools for Boolean Operations
Union of Elements: Combines two or more overlapping contours into a single polygon or spline. Difference of Elements: Subtracts the selected subject contours from the first selected (clipping) contour, keeping only the non-overlapping areas. Intersection of Elements: Creates a new contour from the overlapping region shared by the clipping contour and the selected subject contours. Exclusive Disjunction of Elements: Generates contours from areas covered by either the clipping or subject contours, excluding overlapping regions.
Chamfer & Fillet
Apply chamfers with a defined length or fillets with a specified radius to selected points or line segments. Multiple elements can be processed simultaneously for efficient contour refinement.
Mirror contour horizontally
Mirrors selected contours about the horizontal axis. For a single selection, the contour is mirrored around its own center; for multiple selections, the mirror axis is defined by the combined center of all selected elements.
Mirror contour vertically
Mirrors selected contours about the vertical axis. For a single selection, the contour is mirrored around its own center; for multiple selections, the mirror axis is defined by the combined center of all selected elements.
Mirror contour about selected line
Mirrors the selected contour using the chosen line as the mirror axis, reflecting contour points about that line.
Create symmetrical contours
Makes the selected polygon or spline contour elements symmetrical.
Alignment Tools for lines
Align to Horizontal: Aligns selected points along a horizontal line centered between the top and bottom of the selection. Align to Vertical: Aligns selected points along a vertical line centered between the left and right of the selection. Align Parallel: Aligns the second selected contour line parallel to the first selected line. Align Perpendicular: Aligns the second selected contour line perpendicular to the first selected line.
Alignment Tools for element
Align Selected Line Horizontally: Aligns the selected line along the horizontal axis, including its associated contour. Align Selected Line Vertically: Aligns the selected line along the vertical axis, including its associated contour.
Draw Rectangular Polygons
Create rectangular polygon contours directly in ContourTrace, with full shape customization—adjust point positions, line lengths and angles, and add fillets as needed.
Draw Circles
Create circular contour elements directly in ContourTrace, with full control over the radius and position.
Draw Open Polygons
Create open polygon contours directly in ContourTrace, with full shape customization—adjust point positions, line lengths and angles, and add fillets as needed.
Export Operator
The Export Operator manages the saving and export of graphics from ContourTrace, supporting multiple output formats for images, vector data, and CAD workflows. Image formats: HPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP Vector formats: DXF, SVG Macro format: FreeCAD Macro (FCMacro)
Export Contours as FreeCAD Macro
Export contours from ContourTrace as a FreeCAD macro that can be loaded and executed in FreeCAD to automatically generate 3D models from the extracted contours.
Metadata with DXF export
Assign names, depth, and custom metadata to each contour and export them with DXF files. Contours can be saved as separate files with their associated metadata, enabling smoother CAD workflows and reliable integration with downstream tools, including FreeCAD macros.
Export Metadata with FreeCAD Macro
Exports contour metadata directly into FreeCAD, displaying contour names and strings in the Feature Tree. Defined depth values are applied automatically, enabling accurate and consistent 3D operations based on the assigned metadata.
